According to Command Spokesperson Yemisi Opalola, the suspects confessed to being members of the notorious Aye confraternity, responsible for the attack on political candidate Honourable Ayodeji Olaolu during the 2023 election.
Investigations revealed that the group, armed with dangerous weapons, was involved in multiple killings and illegal arms deals. The police recovered several exhibits, including locally made guns and a black unregistered Highlander Jeep.
