In a heartfelt Instagram post, renowned Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi marked her birthday by sharing a candid account of her emotionally and physically draining 2024. The actress revealed her struggles with hyperemesis, a severe form of pregnancy sickness, which led to hospitalization and an emergency C-section.

Compounding her health issues, Etomi's husband, Banky W, underwent surgery to remove a cancerous tumor while she was still recovering. Despite these challenges, Etomi expressed profound gratitude to God, her husband, and the medical teams in Lagos, Nigeria, and Washington D.C. who played a critical role in her survival.

Etomi's poignant reflection highlighted the importance of resilience, faith, and support during life's most trying moments. Her experience serves as a testament to the human spirit's capacity to persevere and thrive in the face of adversity.
