Governor Mutfwang Marks Two Years in Office with Comprehensive Performance Scorecard

Plateau State Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has released a detailed performance scorecard highlighting his administration's achievements over the past two years. Since taking office in 2023, Mutfwang's government has implemented extensive reforms and life-changing projects across key sectors, including infrastructure, transport, agriculture, education, healthcare, and security.

*Key Achievements*

- *Infrastructure Development*: Over 3,000 kilometers of roads have been completed or are under construction, including major bridges and intercity roads.

- *Transportation*: The Tin City Metro service has been introduced, operating 30 high-capacity buses that transport over 9,000 commuters daily. Rail service from Jos to Kuru has also been revived.

- *Agriculture*: Over 900 hectares of land have been reclaimed for displaced farmers, and ₦16 billion worth of inputs have been distributed. Livestock and agro-processing initiatives have also been launched.

- *Healthcare*: The Plateau Specialist Hospital has been transformed, and general hospitals have received new equipment. Over 9,000 vulnerable citizens now benefit from health insurance coverage under the Mutfwang Care initiative.

- *Education*: A 50% tuition reduction has been implemented for Plateau indigenes in state-owned institutions, and massive scholarship funding has been provided. Infrastructure rehabilitation has been carried out in 148 classroom blocks across all Local Government Areas.

*Security and Workers' Welfare*

- *Security*: Operation Rainbow has been revived, and a toll-free emergency line has been launched to respond swiftly to threats. A new Plateau Special Activities Centre has been established to monitor security across the 17 Local Government Areas.

- *Workers' Welfare*: Salaries and pensions have been consistently paid, and decades-old gratuities and pension arrears have been cleared. Pensions have been increased by 100%, and hazard allowances have been approved for healthcare workers.

*Future Plans*

Governor Mutfwang has assured citizens that the next phase of his administration will focus on economic expansion, job creation, and peacebuilding. "Plateau is rising again," the governor declared. "And by the grace of God, we shall all rise with it."
