BREAKING BARRIERS: Port Harcourt II Customs Achieves Record-Breaking ₦76.07 Billion Revenue

In a remarkable feat, the Port Harcourt II Command of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) has shattered records with a staggering ₦76,075,447,369.83 revenue collection in October 2025. This impressive achievement underscores the impact of effective leadership and stakeholder engagement, demonstrating the Command's commitment to facilitating legitimate trade and revenue generation.

According to Comptroller Aliyu M Alkali, Area Controller of the Command, the success is attributed to ongoing dialogue and consistent engagement with unit heads, emphasizing the importance of compliance and adding value to the Command's operations. "This milestone demonstrates what we can achieve through teamwork and dedication," Comptroller Alkali said. "We will continue to strengthen our systems to maintain this momentum."

The Command's proactive approach to resource allocation has also contributed to its success. Strategic deployment of officers to their current beats based on operational needs has enhanced the Command's capacity to meet and exceed its monthly revenue targets.

Comptroller Alkali commended the port's stakeholders, importers, licensed agents, and Command personnel for their collective effort, praising their patriotism and commitment to national development. This achievement is a testament to the Command's unwavering commitment to national economic growth through effective revenue generation, enforcement of compliance with international trade regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade.
