Oyo/Osun Customs Strengthens Partnerships for Enhanced Security

The Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has taken significant steps to bolster inter-agency collaboration, meeting with the 2 Division of the Nigerian Army and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to enhance national security and service delivery. Brigadier General Abubakar Saddiq Bugaje, Garrison Commander of the 2 Division, emphasized the importance of cooperation among security agencies, stating that "no agency can operate in isolation".
The collaboration between the Oyo/Osun Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service and other security agencies, such as the 2 Division of the Nigerian Army and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), aims to enhance national security and effective service delivery.
Deputy Comptroller of Customs Moses Adewole acknowledged the Nigerian Army's vital role in safeguarding the nation and assured continued collaboration to address security challenges. The Command also met with EFCC Zonal Director, Mrs. Hauwa Garba Ringim, to strengthen ties and combat corruption and financial crimes.
